The owners want $48,000. Councilmember Hall asked if they would consider $40,000 and they said no for various reasons. John Goodman stated that the chemicals are in there and good but they’re having issues with the algae. They’re getting in the pool to clean it as soon as the weather allows. Joely Stewart wants a key to the building to be given to Donna Funderburk. Councilmember Godwin said that should not be an issue. Councilmember Taunton suggested that they call in a professional to get the pool ready for the swim team and after this season we would decide what to do with the pool.
