MINUTES OF A WORK SESSION
OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TALLASSEE, ALABAMA
March 9, 2026
The City Council of the City of Tallassee, Alabama convened in a work session on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tallassee Municipal Complex. The meeting was called to order and the following were recorded as present:
Mayor Joey Wiginton
Council Members Easterling Carpenter
Linda McNeal Mosher
Damian Carr
Bill Hall
Terrel Brown
Sarah Jones
Fred Randall Hughey-absent
John Smith was present as city attorney and Whitney Pitchford as secretary for the work session.
Lance Latham discussed the mobile home ordinance and the differences between modular and manufactured homes.
The agenda for the March 9, 2026 council meeting was reviewed.
On motion of Councilmember Brown and second of Councilmember Hall, and a vote in favor by all other councilmembers, the meeting was adjourned at 5:58 p.m.
