MINUTES OF A WORK SESSION
OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TALLASSEE, ALABAMA
November 10, 2025
The City Council of the City of Tallassee, Alabama convened in a work session on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Tallassee Municipal Complex. The meeting was called to order and the following were recorded as present:

Council Members Easterling Carpenter
Linda McNeal Mosher-absent
Damian Carr
Bill Hall
Terrel Brown
Sarah Jones
Fred Randall Hughey
John Smith was present as city attorney and Whitney Pitchford as secretary for the work session.
The agenda for the November 10, 2025 council meeting was reviewed. Certain items were discussed in detail.
Mayor Wiginton discussed the following ideas for the City:
Riverwalk Trail, Lake Tallassee, making a beach at the boat ramp, occupational tax, monster mountain advertisement, fix swimming pool to be able to host swim meets, move the police department to the hospital, the green area-contest to name this area, Tallassee Native American day festival, directional signs for downtown, LA O’neal-put together adopt a mile program, take down houses, talk to Brock Nolan about maybe letting the City have the $0.01 sales tax, Harsha(east side mill) coming to town-looking at a steak house and an apartment complex, and possibly going full time-discuss at first meeting in January. Contract for 1 year.
On motion of Councilmember Hall and second of Councilmember Carr, and a vote in favor by all other councilmembers, the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
