MINUTES OF A WORK SESSION
OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TALLASSEE, ALABAMA
JUNE 8, 2021
The City Council of the City of Tallassee, Alabama convened in a work session on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Tallassee Municipal Complex. The meeting was called to order and the following were recorded as present:

Council Members Jeremy Taunton
Sarah Hill
Damian Carr
Bill Hall
Terrel Brown
Bill Godwin
Fred Randall Hughey
Joe Seawell Moore was present as city attorney and Whitney Pitchford as secretary for the work session.
The City Council of the City of Tallassee met in the city council chambers in a work session beginning at 5 p.m. on June 8, 2021. The meeting was called to order at 5 p.m. by Mayor Hammock.
First, the discussion of the May 25, 2021 city council meeting and work section. There were no corrections. Next, the discussion of the June 1, 2021 special council meeting. There were no corrections.
Next, the agenda for the June 8, 2021 city council meeting was discussed. Certain items were discussed in detail.
Councilmember Hall discussed Keep Alabama Beautiful. He has been in contact with the state and Denese Taylor has given free supplies. Councilmember Hall is in the process of organizing an independent organization, they could get free supplies from Keep Alabama Beautiful. Councilmember Hall wanted to make sure there would be no conflict, councilmembers said there would not be any conflict. The organization would need a dumpster and the ability to make a few color copies. Mayor Hammock and all Councilmembers agreed that this would be a great idea.
On motion of Councilmember Hill and second of Councilmember Taunton, and a vote in favor by all other councilmembers, the meeting was adjourned at 5:28 p.m.
